NZICC - Powering Event Spaces
We provided the full electrical infrastructure for the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), a premier Auckland venue hosting major events. Our work supported refrigeration systems powering 20 cool rooms, large food prep areas including a central kitchen serving thousands, multiple servery kitchens, and liquor storage.
We installed a DALI-controlled emergency lighting system, and integrated communication systems between refrigeration units and the building management system, enabling real-time monitoring and alerts. This complex, large-scale project demanded precision and coordination. We’re proud to have powered this advanced facility.
NZ Blood Distribution Centre
We delivered the electrical installation for the New Zealand Blood Service’s Highbrook Distribution Centre, a vital facility for storing life-saving blood products. Our work included mechanical refrigeration systems for three large freezer rooms capable of reaching -35°C.
This year-long, technically complex project required precise integration of lighting, safety features, and reliable electrical infrastructure.
To ensure continuous operation, the system has full redundancy: dual refrigeration units and generator backup.
Working closely with the main contractor, we delivered a dependable refrigeration environment essential to the centre’s mission.

Titirangi House
Complete renovation of 1920's weatherboard bungalow including full lighting design, new kitchen and bathroom and switchboard upgrade. Ensured the new look blended in with aspects of the old character home.
Oratia New Build
Complete electrical fit-out, including full lighting design, integrated audio system, outdoor lighting, pool wiring, and future-proofed electrical infrastructure, for a spacious 380m² four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. This high-spec residential project was carefully planned to deliver both immediate functionality and long-term flexibility through reliable, tailored electrical solutions.
F45 Gym
We completed the entire electrical fit out including ventilation and fire alarm system for the new training gym. We met both the customers design and their required specifications and delivered this on time and to budget.
We really like Total Works Electrical, especially Sean and they work they did for us. He used his best judgment and planning to make the lighting disappear in the profile.
